Is your God too small?

God Day To YOU,

The wind has been rustling through the trees for a few days now. Rainy and grey days have settled in this week along with colder than normal temperatures. It makes it harder to believe that we are three-quarters through the month of May. Yet we can always feel the sunshine and warmth within us. It is available to us as a memory and even greater in the awareness of God.
I wish you sunshine!

God said “Let there be light.” And there was light. (Genesis 1:3)

Let us breathe in the light of God. How affirming it is, that the moment we place our attention on light, we can see light and even feel the warmth of it.  It has nothing to do with what is happening outside of us. It is not the ray of light that shines through us. This light is the Christ presence within us that we need to allow and practice it glowing from us.

In this moment send this Light of the Divine Presence out from you and surround our world with its glow.  And then bring it back to you.  We are One.

This Sunday our message is “Is your God too small.”

Have you ever really paused long enough to ponder about “How big is my God?” Many of us have had a vision or an impression of what God is from our childhood upbringing. My childhood upbringing gave me a God that may or may not let you into the Kingdom of Heaven upon Death. God only gives you only what you can handle. And I thought “I wish he didn’t have so much faith in me.” People only say that when hard times are here. The Truth couldn’t be further from this belief. The Truth is that God is the Presence and the Power of Vast Goodness. God does not deliver a sentence of destruction. God is the Power and energy that moves us beyond our own personal limitations.

How big is my God? Let us begin by realizing that God has implanted within us the kingdom and the power, and it is up to us to allow it to flow through us. The Kingdom of God is already within us. Heaven is our individual awareness of this kingdom of God. The more we grow into the realization of the Presence of God within us, the more our life takes on greater meaning as Christ. Thank you for Jesus’ teaching “The kingdom of God is within you. (Luke 17:21)

Let us affirm together: I open my awareness to the Kingdom of God that resides within me. I allow this Light of God As Me to flow throughout my life. I give thanks for my God is unlimited, ever-present, all power, unceasing!
