What is Love?

God Day To YOU,

Happy Mother’s Day to all those who birthed children, raised children, nurtured children, loved children, and to all those who continue to be a motherly presence in someone else’s life.
We love you
We bless you,
We appreciate you,
and we behold the Christ You Are!
And we know, without doubt, the amazing things that you do from that place of Divine Love within You. The world is a better place because YOU Care.

My mind is going through the many mothers. grandmothers, aunts, friends, women, along with the fathers, grandfathers, uncles, friends, and men (yes, Men) who fulfill the role of Motherly Love in someone’s life. Bless you! The greatest gift we can show a person is an unconditional love and acceptance. We may need to steer them in the right direction to make the right choices for themselves. And we love them unconditionally regardless of outer circumstances. And yes, we might occasionally be called on to pick them up when they fall. We do it because we love you.

Celine Dion’s song “Because You Loved Me” comes to my mind. The words say ‘I’m everything I am because you loved me.” Romantic Love, possibly; Motherly love, oh yes; Divine Godly Love, most definitely, without a doubt. We are everything we are because of the expression of love in our lives.
WE CELEBRATE YOU TODAY!!!

Join us in the parking lot for our second Drive-in Service. This Sunday our message is “What is love?”

In the Gospel according to John 15:13 “Greater love has no one than this, that you lay down your life for a friend.” I know many a person who changed the plans in their life because a child came into their life, sometimes planned and many times, not planned. They laid down their lives to help nurture another soul. What greater gift can one give to another?

Love is the power that joins and binds in divine harmony the universe and everything in it. (Revealing Word)
Divine Love is impersonal. It simply loves for the sake of loving. Agape (Divine) love is the unconditional, selfless love. I like to define it as “God Love.” The Bible says God is Love. (1 John 4:8) On one hand, you have God and on the other, you have love and there is no distinction or separation. It is all divine love. It is our responsibility to feel this love within is us and allow it to grow to become an expression of us.

“We love because God first loved us.” (1 John 4:8)

“Let all that you do be done in love.” (1 Corinthians 16:4)

Affirm with me: I acknowledge the Divine God Love that I originated from and I joyfully express it in my life. Yes, I AM born in the image and after the likeness of God, Pure Love.

We will also be available on Facebook Live this Sunday at 11 a.m.
We give thanks to all of you who are joining us virtually and prayerfully.

Today and Always, We Grow in God and Grow in Love.
