Happy December!
Many beautiful lights decorate our lands,
Twinkling can be seen for miles.
My feelings of illumination are ignited.
The real illumination is
My Christ Light.
The light that shines always.
As I gaze upon the lights,
I shine.
Today I shine my entire light out into the world.
I illumine every connection I make,
every conversation I have,
and every step I take.
My Christ walk is illumined.
And so it is!
Sunday message – “Peace!”
Our second Sunday in Advent is “Peace.” We experience a lot of hustle and bustle around this time of year. So much to get done. It can feel anything but Peaceful and yet the Peace that passes understanding is with us always. Peace is here right now. How do we access? First in our willingness to do so. Then in a pause to realize we already have it. When I think about the wonderful creation we live out of – our consciousness – and how we determine the life we choose to live and that we have everything we need within us to create a peaceful, loving environment within our mind regardless of outer circumstances, I feel the awe of God within me. The Light of Christ is illumined within me a bit more this 2nd week in Advent. Let us open ourselves to feel the expanding illumination as Peace.
Join us this Sunday at 11am as we embrace Peace that passes all understanding.
Let us affirm together:
I pause my busyness in my body and my mind and choose to experience the peaceful feelings within me. I give thanks for the peace that is always with me.
“And the Peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and mind.” (Philippians 4:7)
