"Imagination - a Lenten Spiritual Practice"

God Day Everyone!
What a gift today is!
The moment we put our feet upon the floor we began our day in faith.
We set about making room for God to out-picture in abundant ways.
We see in our mind’s eye the goodness of Divine Substance
flowing forth into every area of our lives.
Goodness is ours every day of our lives.
We give thanks and we raise our voices in praise and we say
Glory, Glory, Glory
It is in the moments of life when we pause that we can feel
this life-giving force behind each breath we take.
I imagine great things, I intuit great things,
I accept great things.
And so it is!
Amen!

Sunday message – “Imagination – A Lenten Spiritual Practice”

Our Spiritual Journey takes commitment and practice and Imagination. “Just imagine!” We often say this describing something beyond our expectations. “Just imagine!” In truth, we are imagining non-stop from morning until night. The challenge is to make careful, conscious selections each day from the possible imaginings. We experience love, joy, and abundance with perfect assurance that we will experience those qualities. “Everything that is manifest,” Charles Fillmore writes in Keep a True Lent, was first a mental picture and was brought into expression by this forming power. Our task is to be sure that what we imagine is inspired by Spirit within us. By filling our minds with the imaginings of Spirit, we see—and experience—our lives as good and beautiful. (Imagination by Rev Ed Townley)

Service begins at 11AM.

Let us affirm together: I fill my mind with positive imaginings. I see my life as it is meant to be: good and beautiful. (Unity Lenten booklet 2018)

“Watch over your heart with all diligence for from it flow the spring of life.” (Proverbs 4:23)
